Chair: Faculty Advocacy Committee (several years since 1983) (charged with overseeing student Moot Court and Mock Trial Competitions, intramural and varsity).
Coach: National Champion Mock Trial Team—Spring, 1989 (with Jim Ewbank).
Faculty Director: Board of Advocates (Student organization managing advocacy competitions), 1983-1990.
Course Director: UT Annual DTPA Conference (annually 1992-1998).
Originator: Curriculum development for course “Texas Procedure for Litigators,” a three-hour course in advanced trial advocacy and Texas Courts. First offered–Spring, 1985.
Demonstrator: “All Star Mock Trial,”–Spring 1989 (with attorneys Steve Sussman, Daryl Bristow, and Dick Miller.)
